Preferences
The
CuaKeyboardLayout is the
KeyboardLayout dictated by the
CommonUserAccess or CUA standard.
- F1 = Help
- F2 = Save
- F3 = Quit
- F4 = Save and Quit
- F7 = page up
- F8 = page down
- Shift-Insert to paste
- Ctrl-Insert to copy
- Shift-Del to cut
- Ctrl-Arrow to skip words
You should recognize these as being the basic keyboard bindings present in MicrosoftWindows.
Windows also uses a few that it stole from MacOS? (who in turn stole them from XeroxPARC?).
- Ctrl-W close a window
- Ctrl-A mark all
- Ctrl-C copy into clipboard
- Ctrl-X cut into clipboard
- Ctrl-V paste from clipboard
