This is a CategoryFeature? that means the use of the whole screen (or virtual terminal) not just the current line.

There is another type of FullScreen capability called PageMode in which the entire page can be used as a kind of canvas and changes are not permanent until a "SEND" key is pressed.


PageMode is characteristic of IBM mainframes. Terminals on other systems are character mode devices, with characters typed on the keyboard sent as they are types to the host and acted upon. IBM mainframe terminals like the 3270 are block mode devices, and send/receive entire screens of data at a time.
