Ted for NT provides almost all features of its UNIX version including:
- Color & mouse support
- Interface with external compilers
- External OS command execution
Features that are missing:
- Shell processes in windows
- Interface with external spell checker
- Screen font loading
Known problems:
- File manager doesn't know about 8.3 names
- Slow screen output under Windows 95
- Close button doesn't work under Windows 95
- OS level Cut/Paste? doesn't work under Windows 95
- Under Windows 95 TED waits until external command fully completes before displaying any of command's output in a window
- Some messages still refer to UNIX
