Lime Text is a powerful and elegant text editor primarily developed in Go that aims to be a Free and open-source software successor to Sublime Text.

Lime has a few frontends (QML, command-line interface) that can be selectively used with the pluggable backend. The Backend itself is written in Go. Lime is still in an early stage but it is evolving along quickly. The Frontend is written in what ever GUI language suits you! At the moment there are termbox, Qt (QML) and HTML/JavaScript? implementations. Dart and Skia are in discussion.
