Tungsten Text Editor is a small, lightweight text editing app similar to Notepad. It is a Progressive Web App (PWA) for desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS?, etc.), implemented using web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Because it's built around the core of Ace (Ajax.org Cloud9 Editor), it's perfectly capable of coding.
Tungsten Text Editor is mainly developed for Chromebooks.
In addition, the results of Web Capabilities (Project Fugu 🐡) are used to implement features that are not feasible for general web applications, such as local file access functions.
