GEOS Write was the word processor component of the GEOS Operating environment for the Commodore 64/128 computers. GEOS was a graphical environment with a bit mapped screen and icons, using the joystick in place of a mouse. GEOS Write included basic word processor features, including word wrap, search and replace, and fonts. The biggest limitation was the extremely slow Commodore floppy drive, which made loading GEOS in the first place, and swapping components into memory time consuming.
