EditD

  EditD is a Windows textfile editor with a multiple document  interface.  It
  can be used as a replacement for Notepad for simple text-editing tasks.

  You  can  also use EditD as a text browser by using the <Options|Read Only>
  or  <Options|Read Only All>  menu command.  Files may be  dragged  from the
  Windows Explorer and dropped on the EditD window to open them.
