FountainPen is completely written in Objective-C/Cocoa?. It uses Automatic Retain Counting so as to work safely and, importantly, exactly the same way across several OS versions. (We wanted to use the Garbage Collector but found it didn’t work properly in Mac OS 10.6 when compiled in OS 10.8; baked-in retain counting works consistently across all versions.)
