Personal Editor 3 is highly compatible with IBM Personal Editor 2. However, it runs on Intel 64bit Windows 7 and up and also Linux. There are additional features and limitations removed over the prior version. It is open source and written in the SNOBOL5 language. See http://snobol5.org/pe3doc.htm Keys are higly configurable and included is a profile to make it largely like the NANO editor on Linux.
