LineEndings (Newlines) - The ability to deal with different ASCII line-ending conventions. The editor may be able to correctly display files no matter which convention they use, and/or may also be able convert files between different conventions. The primary conventions are: * LF: Unix and Unix-like systems (GNU/Linux, AIX, Xenix, Mac OS X, etc.), BeOS, Amiga, RISC OS, and others * CR+LF: DOS, OS/2, Microsoft Windows * CR: Commodore machines, Apple II family, Mac OS up to version 9 and OS-9 See the Wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newline for more info.
