Influential shareware word processor for MS-DOS PCs '''Author:''' Bob Wallace / QuickSoft '''Download:''' http://www.retroarchive.org/garbo/pc/txtutil/index.html (pcw415a/b/c/d/e.zip) '''Wikipedia:''' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC-Write '''Family:''' MsDosEditors '''Platform:''' MS-DOS '''License:''' Shareware Bob Wallace's PC Write was a really nice word processor. One feature in particular was pretty cool. You only used one function key to complete a function fully. Let me explain. If you need to move a block, you mark with the move key and move with the move key. Same goes for copy. Just keep pressing that key multiple times. I guess you could call it modal marking. I thought it was pretty nice at the time. -- RonPerrella '''Screenshot:''' http://www.users.csbsju.edu/~eknuth/images/htmled16/pcwrite.gif
