PowerPad has a very flexible scripting language with a built-in manager for browsing scripts. An great example of how powerful the scripting language is, is the RegEx script which allows for RegEx based searches.

PowerPad has a very flexible scripting language with a built-in manager for browsing and downloading scripts. A great example of how the scripting language can be used to add new capabilities to PowerPad is the RegEx script which allows the user to make RegEx based searches. Other scripts currently available include a base 64 encoder/decoder, web tools, and C++ class generator.

Some of the Linux versions available for download are slightly older than the current version available for Windows.
