CryptoEdit supports RTF, RTFD (with images), and plain text, with RTF features similar to those found in other mac applications.
All files are saved with AES-256 encryption. Each document can optionally have an unencrypted "public note," displayed when the document is opened but before the password is entered.
Files can be write-locked to prevent accidental editing.
