KeyBinding is a feature used to bind (or map) a key to a command within the TextEditor.

This is often done for compatibility reasons.

A few popular KeyboardLayouts are:

• BriefKeyboardLayout
• CuaKeyboardLayout
• EmacsKeyboardLayout
• SlickEditorKeyboardLayout
• WordStarDiamond
